Free Joss |
To: EMI RecordsTo: EMI Records, please release ‘Colour me free’.
WE, the fans of Joss Stone, ask you to kindly reconsider the decision of not releasing her fourth album ‘Colour Me Free’.
It would seem that the album has been complete since 2007 and there is no reason to delay this release anymore.
As you can see by the number of signatures which follow this report, there are many people around the world who are looking forward to purchasing Joss Stone’s latest album. It would be tremendously disappointing if we were to learn that the songs present in the album were not selected by Joss herself.
As an example of disagreements between artists and record companies, singer/songwriter Shakira, after becoming a renamed artist worldwide has confessed being told some of her songs were not accurately following the record company's intentions. Should her original projects have been accepted, her career might have continued to be as grand as it was when her album Laundry Service was out.
Thus, there is no reason why Joss Stone's album should not be released the way she made it and idealized it to be, as it will most certainly please not only the public but all her fans.
Looking forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Free Joss – an international group of fans
Sincerely,
