Keep Evolving Door SLE Open

The Evolving Door SLE is a sober living environment home located in Scotts Valley, California, providing a clean and safe place for recovering alcoholics and addicts to live as they adjust to life without alcohol and drugs. The Evolving Door also provides a place for the public to attend Alcoholics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous meetings.

In Santa Cruz County, sober living homes such as this are few and often have long waiting lists before residency is available. Thus, The Evolving Door SLE provides a valuable service to the community, and continued operation is crucial to ensure that its current occupants remain in a support-oriented lifestyle that so important to their recovery.

We urge all parties involved to work with Evolving Door management to discuss what steps must be taken to see that this vital resource remains available to those in need.
