Tell State Senators and Legislators to make SCDOT a Cabinet Agency in South Carolina!

To:  SC State Legislature

We, the voters in South Carolina, believe that we are at a crossroads. The over reliance of the DOT Commission to manage this huge agency has posed insurmountable problems for our state. Our tax dollars are being squandered away and it is time for true accountability.

We request that you vote to make SCDOT a Cabinet Agency. On November 7, 2006, the citizens of South Carolina have overwhelming proved their support of Governor Mark Sanford. We need to do what 41 states have done, and put the agency and its director under the control of the governor. We are urging you, as our legislator and senator to vote in favor of this change.
