Death Row Phone Rules in North Carolina

To all concerned and involved parties;
It has come to the pressing attention of many concerned citizens in this country, not only North Carolina, but throughout the United States of the appalling status quo of only one phone call permitted annually to Death Row inmates in North Carolina.
Seeing as a sentence of death has been meted out to said individuals, time is of the essence to establish a more periodic availability to phone priveleges.
The condemned inmate has the pall of death hovering over him regardless of the time the appeal process may indeed take to run its course.During this time, it is only right and humane to offer him incentive plans in the form of proper conduct compliance rewarded with amongst other things, regular access to a telephone to conduct conversations with those of his choosing.
To point out the absurdity of allowing Death Row inmates in North Carolina only one phone call annually would be redundant for the injustice perpetrated by such a vile rule cries out for reprimand. Thus we the below signed individuals demand this barbaric, cruel policy change immediately and be substituted with a more acceptable and humane phone policy to govern Death Row inmates in North carolina.
