Investigate the Downing Street Minutes as Evidence of Impeachable Crimes!

We, the undersigned, want to thank Rep. Price for signing Rep. Conyers’ letter to President Bush asking for an explanation of the Downing Street memos (see www.afterdowningstreet.org), but more needs to be done. We ask that you introduce or support a Resolution of Inquiry into whether the leaked memos contain grounds for impeachment. These memos suggest that the Administration deliberately misled Congress to justify aggression against Iraq, a felony and a violation of international law. We also ask you to call upon the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence to complete and release Phase II of its report on pre-War intelligence failures, examining how officials used the incorrect information (see www.truthempowered.org). If there are grounds for impeachment, based on old or new information, we ask that you support impeachment of the President and anyone else who has committed impeachable offenses.
