Señores promotores de eventos en Colombia.

Luego del anuncio del lanzamiento de su nuevo álbum Systematic Chaos, la banda de metal progresivo Dream Theater ha anunciado el inicio de su Chaos In Motion World Tour, que los llevara a presentar su grandioso show alrededor del mundo y muy posiblemente a tierra sudamericanas.

La presente es para expresar nuestro incondicional apoyo y deseo de que se realicen las gestiones necesarias para que Colombia haga parte de la gira del grupo por Sudamérica.

La banda se presento por primera vez en nuestro país el 26 de febrero del año 2006, siendo el evento un total éxito, con boleteria totalmente agotada dos semanas antes de la fecha del concierto, haciéndolo un show económicamente rentable para el promotor. Brillo por el gran comportamiento del público y la satisfacción generalizada por la calidad del espectáculo brindado por estos grandes músicos norteamericanos. Es nuestro deseo que este evento se repita y que Colombia se convierta en un destino frecuente en cada una de las futuras giras del quinteto, por lo que solicitamos su colaboración para lograr que Dream Theater este nuevamente en Bogota presentando su nueva producción discográfica.

Fueron 20 años el tiempo que los fieles seguidores del grupo debimos esperar para poder tener la fortuna de presenciar su espectáculo en vivo en nuestro país, esperamos que la calidad de la agrupación, el excelente antecedente del evento anterior y esta petición logren despertar su interés y compromiso de brindar nuevamente este maravilloso espectáculo a la comunidad rockera colombiana, que ha respondido de manera muy positiva a los últimos eventos realizados en nuestro país, como las presentaciones de Slayer, Deftones y Roger Waters, todos estos eventos han tenido una buena afluencia de publico y han demostrado ser un éxito tanto para los promotores, como para los seguidores, que por fin pudimos tener eventos de talla internacional en nuestro país.

Esperando no tener que volver a esperar 20 años para ver a Dream Theater en vivo en Colombia, sinceramente y agradeciendo su atención.


Event promoters in Colombia and the DT tour management

After the announcement of their new album release Systematic Chaos, the progressive metal band Dream Theater has announced the beginning of their Chaos In Motion World Tour, which will take them and their magnificent show around the world and probably to South American lands.

This letter is to express our unconditional support and the desire of the necessary arrangements to be made so Colombia gets to be a part of the band's tour for South America..

The group performed for the first time in our country on February 26th, 2006 being a success, with a complete sold-out two weeks before the concert, making it a very profitable event for the promoters, with a remarkable behavior from its audience and the general satisfaction by the great the performance given by these great American musicians. It’s our desire that this event is brought to us again and that Colombia becomes a frequent destination on each of the future tours of the band, reason why we request your collaboration to have Dream Theater again in Bogotá performing their new discographic production.

They were 20 years the time that the loyal followers of this band had to wait to have the fortune to witness their live show in our country, we expect that the quality of the group, the remarkable antecedent of the previous performance and this petition manages to get your interest and compromise of bringing once again this wonderful event to the Colombian rocker community, which has responded in a very positive way to the latest concerts that has taken place in our country, such as the live performances of Slayer, Deftones and Roger Waters, all this events had a great affluence of public and has proven to be a major success, for the promoters and for the followers, who finally where able to have worldwide importance events in our country.

With the hope of not having to wait another 20 years to see Dream Theater live back in Colombia and thanking your attention.
