You purchased of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on February 25th, and in the following day's Los Angeles Times were quoted as saying, "We like the name Mighty Ducks and certainly see no compelling reason to change it. If the fans want to change, we'll change it."

This petition represents a plea by "the fans" to take this golden opportunity to salvage the integrity of this franchise, by changing the Disney-movie-inspired name that has been the laughing stock of the NHL for the past decade.

Please do the right thing and choose a bold name that can be worn proudly by hockey fans of all ages.
