This petition is a fan-based based initiative to request that Prince Rogers Nelson accept an offer of a Hollywood Walk of Fame star as a gift and honor from his supporters and friends who have benefited from his musical gifts to us.

The undersigned supporters and admirers are sincerely interested in nominating Prince Rogers Nelson to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008. We understand that this would be the second nomination and that a previous request sponsored by Warner Bros was declined. We hope that at this time, Prince will consider accepting this honor- not from a record label, but from his supporters and admirers of his music.

By signing below you are supporting this sentiment and understand that this petition will be presented to Prince for an official response. If this request is accepted the undersigned will be asked to donate $1 to pay for the cost of sponsoring the star. Please make your email address available to the author of this petition for this purpose. The deadline for submitting a 2008 application for the Hollywood Walk of Fame is May 31, 2007. Our cutoff for signatures is May 1, 2007.
