We call on An Garda Siochana to reconsider its discriminatory recruitment ban on practicing Sikhs and Muslims. The current recruitment policy prejudicially affects those of religious persuasion and precludes entry into a police force that purportedly claims to represent all. Contrary to claims of neutrality, this ban highlights a bias that has no place in modern Ireland.

We ask you to support the rights of all minority groups to play an active and participatory role, without discrimination, in the guardianship of this great nation.
