Electronic Arts and EASports have been fairly good to the sport gaming community, and are supposed to be well known for their excellent customer service. Imagine my dissapoinment, when I bought a copy of fight night round 3 for the playstation portable just a year and a half after release, and NO ONLINE SUPPORT and servers are down. And so I began research online as to why there is no online servers up for this title, and I noticed a disturbing trend. EA and EA Sports have taken many servers down for previous versions of games which have newer titles out, or have new titles being developed and released. And so I am left to ponder what is next for EA. I have a copy of SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 2 (almost 3 years out) and the servers are still up, running, and maintained regularly. EA has instead opted to shut their servers down permanently, leaving many to wonder what the online experience of these games would be like. As a dedicated consumer and customer of several EA franchises (including NBA, Tiger Woods PGA, Fight Night, Need For Speed, Madden, and many more)I request that some of these servers be brought back online, so that these games can still be enjoyed by the "hardcore" gamers who love the online community. Even if only temporarily (but even better so, permanently)I only long for one round of Fight Night 3 (for PSP) with an online rival. I am also certain that I am not alone in this longing to play EA's fabulous franchises over the internet. And so, in conclusion, Electronic Arts: PLEASE bring back the servers so that we can enjoy your games to the fullest, and enjoy the fruits of the many hours of development that goes along with making a videogame online compatible.
