Protest against arrestment of activists and airing the confessions

After the presidential election in Iran dated 12 Jun 2009-that there are serious doubts about its result-, as wave of arrestment of opposition leaders, journalists and other citizens has been started with the excuse of endangering national security, provocation of people to damage public assets… and similar excuses whilst most of them were arrested at their houses and in some cases in the hospital.
Some of these people including:

Freedom movement of Iran (FMI): Ebrahim Yazdi(secretary general), Mohammad Tavasolli (political director) , Emad Bahavar(Chairman of youth community ).

Islamic Iran Participation Party (IIPP): Mohsen Mirdamadi(Secretary General)Saeed hajjarian-who is paralyzed by an assassination -(member of central committee), Abdullah remazanzadeh(Deputy Secretary-General), Shahab Tabatabaei (Chairman of youth community), Mostafa Tajzadeh(member of central comitee), Mohsen Safaei Farahani(member of central comitee), Davood Soleimani(member of central comitee), Mohammad Reza Jalaeipour

Islamic Revolution Mojahedin Organization (IRMO):
Behzad Nabavi(member of central committee), Feizollah Arab Sorkhi(member of central committee), Mohsen Aminzadeh(member of central committee), Jahanbakhsh Khanjani

Organization of University Graduates of Islamic Iran: Ahmad Zeidabadi(Secretary genral), Abdullah Momeni(member of central committee)

Association of the Combatant Clerics: Mohammad Ali Abtahi (Member of central committee)

Executives of Reconstruction Party (ERP): Mohammad Atrianfar(Member of central committee), Hedayatollah Aghaaei(Member of central committee)
And also many journalist like Mohammad Ghouchani (editor of Etemade melli daily paper) and Mahsa Amrabadi(journalist in Etemade melli paper who is pregnant) ,have been arrested and most of them have not been released yet.
This action show a systematic violence of human rights focused on neglecting political parties and the journalists and almost all of active members of the opposition parties were under pressure by the government. Most of these parties are popular in Iran and managed to win the elections when they were qualified to contribute in the election.
There are also concerns about forcing the detainees to confess under inhumane conditions and broadcast the confessions on governmental TV by security or judicial apparatus.
All of these parties were registered as per Iranian law and recognized Iranian constitution. This is obviously attack two of main pillars of the civil society that are parties and press.
This action is violation of the articles 24, 26,38,39 of Iranian constitution, and articles 5,11,20 of Human Rights declaration.
We condemn these violations, announce this as a fundamental threat to the Iranian fragile constitutional democracy and ask United Nations and other related international organizations to keep an eye on actions of the Iranian government against the people’s freedom and prevent airing the probable confessions. We ask for immediate action to force the government to finish this systematic violence of rights and ask the Iranian government to release all political prisoners immediately who are detained against the law.

پس از انتخابات ریاست جمهوری در ایران به تاریخ 22 خرداد 1388- که تریدهای جدی در باره نتایج آن وجود دارد-موجی از دستگیری رهبران مخالف دولت، روزنامه نگاران و دیگر شهروندان در ایران آغاز شده است که بهانه آن به مخاطره انداختن امنیت ملی و تحریک مردم به آسیب زدن به اموال عمومی و ... است. این در حالیست که اکثر دستگیریها در منزل افراد و در برخی موارد در بیمارستانها انجام شده است.
برخی از افراد دستگیر شده عبارتند از:
نهضت آزادی ایران: ابراهیم یزدی (دبیر کل)، محمد توسلی (رئیس دفتر سیاسی)، عماد بهاور(رئیس شاخه جوانان)
حزب مشارکت: محسن میردامادی(دبیر کل)، سعید حجاریان- که به دلیل سوء قصد به جان وی از کار افتاده است-( عضو شورای مرکزی)، عبدالله رمضان زاده( جانشین دبیر کل)، شهاب طباطبایی(رئیس شاخه جوانان)، مصطفی تاج زاده( عضو شورای مرکزی)، محسن صفایی فراهانی(عضو شورای مرکزی)، داوود سلیمانی(عضو شورای مرکزی)، محمد رضا جلایی پور.
سازمان مجاهدین انقلاب اسلامی: بهزاد نبوی(عضو شورای مرکزی)، فیض الله عرب سرخی(عضو شورای مرکزی)، محسن امین زاده(عضو شورای مرکزی)، جهانبخش خانجانی.
مجمع دانش آموختگان ایران اسلامی(ادوار تحکیم): احمد زیدآبادی(دبیر کل)، عبدالله مومنی(عضو شورای مرکزی).
مجمع روحانیون مبارز: محمد علی ابطحی(عضو شورای مرکزی).
حزب کارگزاران سازندگی: محمد عطریانفر(عضو شورای مرکزی)، هدایت الله آقایی(عضو شورای مرکزی).
همچنین بسیاری از خبرنگاران مانند محمد قوچانی(سردبیر روزنامه اعتماد ملی) و مهسا امرآبادی(خبرنگار اعتماد ملی که باردار است) بازداشت شده اند و اکثر آنان همچنان در بازداشت به سر می برند.
این اقدام نقض سازمان یافته حقوق بشر است که بر سرکوب احزاب سیاسی و روزنامه نگاران متمرکز شده است. و تقریبا تمامی اعضای فعال احزاب مخالف به وسیله دولت تحت فشارهستند. اکثر این احزاب در ایران پر طرفدار هستند و در انتخاباتی که در آن اجازه شرکت یافته اند موفق بوده اند.
همچنین نگرانی هایی مبنی بر اعمال فشار به بازداشت شدگان برای اعتراف در شرایط غیرانسانی وجود دارد که متعاقب آن پخش اعترافات بوسیله نیروهای قضایی و امنیتی در تلویزیون دولتی ایران خواهد بود.
تمامی این احزاب قانونی بوده و قانون اساسی ایران را به رسمیت شناخته اند. این کار حمله آشکاربه دو رکن جامعه مدنی یعنی احزاب و مطبوعات می باشد.
این حملات نقض بندهای 24،26، 38و39 قانون اساسی ایران و همچنین بندهای 5،11 و 20 اعلامیه جهانی حقوق بشر است.
ما این خشونتها را محکوم می کنیم و اعلام می داریم که این اقدام یک تهدید اساسی برای مردم سالاری شکننده ایران است و از سازمان ملل و سایرسازمانهای مرتبط بین المللی تقاضا داریم که مراقب اقدامات دولت ایران علیه آزادی مردم باشند و از پخش شدن اعترافات احتمالی جلوگیری کنند. ما خواستار اقدامات فوری برای تحت فشار قرار دادن دولت ایران به دلیل نقض سازمان یافته حقوق مردم هستیم و از دولت ایران می خواهیم تمام زندانیان سیاسی را که بر خلاف قانون دستگیر شده اند سریعا آزاد کند.
