There have been many Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer shows in the last fifteen years, starting from Vic Reeves Big Night Out in 1990 and going through to Catterick in 2004.

This petition aims to get the copyright owners, BBC and Channel 4, to release the back catalogues of Reeves and Mortimer programmes in DVD format to preserve the quality of the programmes and possibly include extra features.

Most of the shows have been released in video format but some of these are becoming harder and more expensive to find and shows such as Shooting Stars have never been released (excepting a Series 2 compilation) and fans of Reeves and Mortimer would love to own the shows to have the opportunity to watch them whenever they desire instead of waiting for them to be repeated.

If released, the DVDs would be very popular to fans of comedy, Reeves and Mortimer, and for some of the older programmes, people looking for nostalgia. Many comedy programmes have now been released in DVD format and have been very popular due to the quality and extra features and I am sure that this would be the case if the Reeves and Mortimer shows were released.

There are many, many Reeves and Mortimer fans that would very much like this to happen, and through this petition, we urge you to release the DVDs of the programmes.
