Emirates fares from Beirut are unacceptable. |
To: Emirates ManagementTo Emirates Management,
We, undersigned Lebanese residents and citizens, are unhappy with the fares that you offer departing Beirut.
A return fare in economy to Australia is priced at almost 1800USD, whereas departing Australia the fare is substantially lower.
A similar trip departing Istanbul is priced at less than 1000Euro (that's less than 1300 USD).
Your 'special' fare of 532USD to Dubai is not justified. You sell similar fares for flights that are 8+ hours and even longer (Sydney - Bangkok return) or even UK - Sub-Continent/SE Asia return.
You also charge too much for First and Business class.
We sincerely do not believe that your service in First class to Dubai is worth 3542USD. This is more than some First class return fares departing Europe to South Asia that you were offering few weeks ago.
You also place too many flight restrictions on your fares for trips to AU/NZ.
We think this is unfair. Specially that you offer a similar service in length (Auckland - Sydney) in First class (and on the A380 suites) for 1500USD.
It is true that you serve Beirut with 17 flights per week, but your fares are not justified and therefor demand that you review your fares, specially those in First and Business class.
Until such time, we reserve the right to take our precious business else where (Etihad, Malaysian).Sincerely,
The Emirates fares from Beirut are unacceptable. Petition to Emirates Management was created by and written by Mohamad Maroun (mohamad.maroun@yahoo.com).
