To:  Minister for Immigration and Citizenship

We would like to urge you to show some empathy and compassion in regards to Mr Elhamy Hanna Youssef family’s case. We urge you to exercise your discretionary powers to end their 4-year unneccessary ordeal.
Your earlier refusal to use this power had resulted in more misery, unrest and instability for the family members of these young people.
This family, who migrated to this country in a bid to establish new better life, had lost all its relations with the country of origin, Egypt. They also integrated well in Australian society and adapted their life to its lifestyle. They did not do anything bad to be punished for and for their life to be turned up-side-down.
We deeply believe that this is highly humanitarian case that deserves your immediate attention. We also believe that they will suffer immensely if they will be forced to go back to Egypt.
Please end their ordeal by granting this family a permannet visa.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
