Are you against horse slaughter? If you are, you've come to the right place.

I own the site Equidan with my partner. Equidan is a Stop Horse Slaughter site that you can join at www.freewebs.com/stopslaughter/.

As you may know, there were over 62,000 horses slaughtered in 2003 in Canada. Most Canadians do not know about this and we wish to inform the world about it. There are also two slaughter houses in Texas, USA. Why is the demand for horse meat so high? Mad cow disease. The Asians are afraid of mad cow disease so they wish to substitute horse meat for the cow's meat. Horse meat is very valuable in Asia, so prices are high. In America, there are horse auctions called "Killer Auctions" where people buy horses to sell to Slaughter Houses. While it is very wrong, and I cannot stress how wrong it is, people are greedy and would give lives for money.

So, please please please help stop horse slaughter! Remember, you can make a difference.
