This is a petition for respect. We call everyone, fan of Michael Jackson or not, to plead & join our cause to protect the rights of his young children. It is without a doubt that since their father's passing the media as well as the public has turned their eye from their father & now have focused on his young vulnerable children. It has become a common occurrence to treat Michael Jackson with great malice & without compassion, are we so void of decency that we now attempt to do to these children the very same thing that destroyed their father? Have we lost sight of what it is to honor the privacy of people, people who are young, impressionable & vulnerable - & instead replace integrity with senseless & destructive rumor mongering we've now come to expect from our media? Following these children around, hounding & stalking them, putting our nose into what should be a private Family affair is nothing short but underhanded & disgusting to the highest degree of journalism. When will this insatiable curiosity stop? Have we really come this far? Is there no line we will not cross? It is disconcerting that the media has lost all its self-respect & with no integrity in their journalism whatsoever, & now they've found new victims for their greed. The exploitation of Michael Jackson has lead us to where we are now, are we so insensitive & deplorable that we make efforts to destroy the integrity of his children? And we do so now, after no more than a month after their father's passing, not even the compassion allotted for their grieving & loss.

It is now all but too clear why Michael Jackson kept his children's identity away from the media spotlight, there was a time these children could go out & play afresh without the glare of the media's eye. Sadly that time has come to an end with their father's passing, please allow these grieving children a little respect & compassion, something we never afforded to give their father. They deserve to have a little piece of mind, they are entitled to mourn for their father's passing without the media's constant scrutiny & vicious rumor mongering. I request people to not contribute to these vicious & insensitive media sensationalism, we make a difference where we stand united.
