ETPRO Permission |
To: ETPROET-ACE TEAM:
"We announced that we were working on integrating our anticheat INTO etpro (so you actually get a 'new' mod but it's the same old etpro, nothing gets changed regarding any its features)
the problem is.. we asked etpro to give us a special build
but they didn't reply in 3-4 weeks now, so i guess there is no hope in giving something to the community. people probably wouldn't change the official mod after so many years of using etpro and that's why we found a better solution (integrating it INTO etpro without having etpro's source, but just by having etpro team's permission to do what we have to do and redistribute a new pk3)
unfortunately, it seems like we will never receive the permission so i guess our work is useless.. maybe i should consider porting anticheat to a game with a nicer community
i kinda feel sad because we finally found the perfect solution that didn't require us getting ETPRO source code, but would still let all the people keep playing on etpro if the mod is accepted. as for me, i have no plans on wasting my time on this anymore. if you want etpro with a better anticheat, ask etpro team to give us the permission to do it"Sincerely,
