As pro-Europeans, I feel that the EU has lost support because of its lack of democratic accountability. Accordingly, the signatories of this petition call for the President of the European Commission to be democratically elected by citizens of all 27 EU states. Similarly, all national commissioners should be elected MEP's from each member state.
