Release Everwood on DVD

Everwood is a TV series that has captured the interest of thousands, perhaps millions, of viewers. It receives acclaim for its quality storytelling, real-life characters and situations, and endearing moral lessons. We, the fans, would like to thank the producers and everyone involved for making such a great series. At the same time, we’d like to make a request.

Though only in its first season, there are already thousands of posts on The WB website with more being added each day from satisfied viewers, and a handful of websites devoted to the show. Some devoted fans tape episodes for their personal viewing pleasure. Some even go to the length of sharing captured footage made available for download online, which is unfortunate because not only is this practice considered questionable by some, but the quality of the video degrades the impact of the show. What we, the fans, deserve, is the solution to all of these potential problems: Everwood on DVD.

What we request is the show we have come to love in the best quality format available to us. We want to watch our favorite episodes over and over again, share them with our friends and family, and re-experience the satisfaction every episode has brought to us, in the high quality long-lasting DVD format. We request this be made available to us as soon as is reasonably possible. This may be before the end of the second season of Everwood or before the end of the year 2003.

We have expressed and continue to express our appreciation for and pleasure in the show. Please don’t make us wait to have the first season on DVD. Our signing this petition makes known our desire to see Everwood on DVD within a reasonable period of time.
