To all state and federal elected officials:

In that the electoral college system of presidential election has proven to be manipulative and divisive, and at times resulting in questionable results, we openly petition our state and federal representatives to amend the constitution in such a way as to eliminate the electoral college system of presidential election and replace it with a purely popular vote - majority wins - sytem whereby the only involvement of the individual states is to ensure a fair and accurate election, and with appropriate checks and balances measures added to ensure it's integrity.
