Facebook Civil Partnership Petition

To:  Facebook (156 University Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94301)

Many progressive nations around the world now recognise that same sex couples are just as committed to the ideal of partnership as opposite sex couples. These states call that union a "Civil Partnership" or "Civil Union".
Facebook is still yet to recognise this type of relationship. Be it merely an oversight, or an aggressive action to attempt to appease what is rapidly a monitory - we call on Facebook to add "Civil Partnership" as a relationship status.
