Venho por este meio apelar a todos os Portistas para que o nosso digníssimo clube contrate Michael Owen, presentemente no Newcastle United, que se encontra a um mês de ser jogador livre.
Sendo o Porto uma bela cidade, estando o FC Porto na nata do futebol europeu, o nosso interesse não passará despercebido.
Um jogador a custo zero com 29 anos, dotado de grande técnica, faro de golo e velocidade (para não falar da sua enorme experiência) seria aquilo que o nosso grande clube necessitaria para a cada vez mais consumada saída do Lisandro Lopez.
Um jogador que marca 40 golos em 89 jogos pela sua selecção, que marcou mais de 150 golos em menos de 350 jogos pelos seus clubes, não pode passar despercebido.
Está na altura de ele voltar à ribalta na Europa e voltar para um clube ao nível do Liverpool e do Real Madrid, clubes que já representou.
Com o valor que poupa-mos na transferência, poderemos pagar o seu ordenado e o seu enorme carisma seria um enorme estimulo em termos de marketing do FC Porto e seria rapidamente uma enorme figura internacional no nosso clube ao nível do Luis "Lucho" Gonzalez.

Por todas estas razões e mais alguma, apelo aos adeptos, sócios e órgãos directivos do Tetra-Campeão que assinem e transmitam esta petição.

Petition to bring Michael Owen to FC Porto


By signing this petition, in order to bring to our beloved FC Porto, the great Michael Owen, currently on Newcastle United, that's a month from being a free agent.
Being Porto a nice city, FC Porto being in the top of the European football, our interest won't go unnoticed.
A 29 year old free agent, with great skill, a born scorer and a speedy striker (not to mention his great experience) would perfectly fit the more the probable vacancy left by Lisandro Lopez.
A player who scores 40 goals in 89 match’s by his country, who netted the ball over 150 times in less than 350 games by his club, can't go unnoticed.
It's time for him to get back to the European spotlight and go back to a club as great as Liverpool or Real Madrid, clubs he represented in the past.
With the money we can save on his transfer, we would be able to pay his wages and with his tremendous charisma would be a huge rise in FC Porto's and he will quickly become a international ex libris in our club on the level of Luis "Lucho" Gonzalez.

For all these reasons and some more, I appeal to all the supporters, associates and directive staff of the four time Champions to sign and forward these petition.
