To:  Dev-Team

The Dev-Team has decided not to release an iPhone jailbreak at this time because "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few". Their position is that there are still many people waiting to purchase an iPhone and that it would make more sense to wait until they've done so before releasing their jailbreak because once they release their jailbreak Apple is likely to plug the holes they've exploited and future iPhones will not be able to use the same exploit (Which is essentially what's been going on for years now).

In just three days well over one million iPhone 3GS were sold and we are all asking that you help make our devices as useful as they can be by releasing the jailbreak now, there are well over one million of us and we are not as few as you might think.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
