Petition to move the county seat out of Milton, Fl.

To:  City of Milton, Florida

The City of Milton, Florida is the county seat of Santa Rosa County. Persons who live outside the city of Milton are subject to new police and fire dept. fees totaling up to $635.00 if they have a car accident in the city. Property owners in Santa Rosa County are forced to go in to the city limits on county business, such as property taxes, tags etc.
We do not wish to be forced to go to a city that has this questionable and highly outrageous fee for a job the police and fire department are already being paid for with tax money.
If Milton was not the county seat we would have the option to avoid going there.
We are petitioning to move the county seat out of Milton, Fl.
