Avatar: The Last Airbender Female Toys

We, the fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender feel it is unfair that there has been no release of, nor news of plans to release, figures or toys of the lead cast of female characters (Katara, Toph, Azula, etc). We feel that it is not right to pass up a female character who has been in the show since episode 1 (Katara) for versions of Aang that have never been shown in the series (Water Tribe Aang) and male side-characters (Avatar Roku, King Bumi).

This petition is a plea to Nickelodeon, Mattel, and any other affiliated companies, to release a line of action figures containing the female lead characters.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the best series Nickelodeon has, and part of the reason many of us love it so much is because of the way females are consistently portrayed - as strong, brave, and always equal to (or better than) the men in the series. It is rare to find a series that portrays women in these roles, and rarer without it being a show geared towards young female audiences. Avatar does this perfectly while also including racial and cultural diversity. That is why we love it.

We have money, and we know what we want. Please give the female characters the spotlight they deserve.
