Save the Ferry Service

To:  The Minister for Regional Development

We the undersigned constituents call upon the Minister for Regional Development to begin the process immediately which would allow his department and his counterpart in Dublin to take financial responsibility for the Magilligan-Greencastle Ferry Service.

We demand that the Minister recognises that the above ferry service is a fundamental part of the transport infrastructure of the North West and refute any suggestion that it is purely a tourist project which can be switched on and off on a seasonal basis.
