When Zoom was cancelled in 2004, Boston Globe sprang up an article about its cancellation. In it, it contained information about a new show called Hot Seat. Hot Seat would be the replacement for the revival of this famous 70's show.

During the planning process, the producers created a main animated character called Ruff Ruffman, and the name was changed to FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman. The show would be a game show, containing 6 kids doing challenges (some involved science). Every season, a fresh cast would compete for points in the Triumph Tally, and at the end of every season, the FETCH! Grand Champion would be crowned and receive a grand prize.

FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman has many fans. While a 6th season was planned and auditions where held this year, they cancelled it at the last minute due to lack of funding. While there is no reputable source at this time that contains this information, WGBH and other FETCH! producers on Facebook have confirmed this statement. Many love the show and don't want it cancelled.

While there are similar petitions on Facebook, and I have one on YouTube, I decided that since some Fetch! fans only have Email addresses, that these wouldn't prove successful. So, I decided to host one here on This will help prove the amount of fans better than the other ones that require a YouTube or Facebook account.

Not only that, but also, according to a website, the 1970's version of Zoom, produced also by WGBH and help inspire its revival and later Fetch!, was going to get cancelled after its third season. Also that season, they asked Zoom fans to submit pictures of themselves to the show, like other content for the show. After receiving over 40,000 pictures, they decided to continue Zoom, and it ran up to its sixth season! This petition will be the next best thing for WGBH and FETCH's underwriters to understand that many Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman fans don't want to see this show get cancelled after its fifth season like how Zoom was unfairly cancelled.

Many Fetch! fans want to see Fetch! continue on past its fifth season. On the behalf of me and many other Fetch! fans, please don't cancel FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman.
