We, a group of many concerned authors and readers, would like to petition to FanFiction.net against the rules prohibiting stories in script format. Many of the greatest works have been deleted from the system due to these rules and the recent wave of heavy enforcement. Do these rules mean that Shakespeare and Arthur Miller were not good authors and should not be read? Scripts are as much a type of story as poetry, which is allowed on the site. Some fanfictions are meant to be written in this way. It is a good way for the authors to try different styles of writing and to have something other than straight forward stories for the readers to enjoy. Whatever happened to unleash your imagination and free your soul?
