National Firefighters Day Petition

To:  US Congress

Firefighters from across the United States have come to the aid and rescue of those impacted by the September 11th Attack on America. On that day and everyday in America, countless firefighters bravely traded their lives for someone else's.

In honor of the bravery, courage and determination demonstrated by American
firefighters, we the undersigned, believe that our nation should set aside at least a single day to mark and honor their hard work and commitment to public safety.

We urge the United States Congress to immediately designate a Nation Firefighter's Day so that we may recognize the brave men and women that serve our country.
