Fire Ed Hochuli! |
To: National Football LeagueWe the undersigned, would like the National Football League to fire referee Ed Hochuli. These past few weeks, he has made terrible calls.
In Week 2, he was the referee for Denver Broncos vs. San Diego Chargers.
In the final minute of the game, Broncos QB Jay Cutler fumbled the ball and the ball was recovered by Chargers LB Tim Dobbins. He called the play as an incomplete pass. This poor call helped Denver win the game over San Diego.
Before this bad call, he had made another bad call in this same game.
Champ Bailey had intercepted the ball from Chris Chambers by stripping it from him. Chargers coach Norv Turner called for a challenge, but the equipment for the challenges were not working at the time.
His next mistake was during New Orleans Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings.
Reggie Bush was facemasked by Vikings LB Chad Greenway. Unfortunately, Hochuli didn't see the play and didn't rule a facemask penalty.
We would like for the National Football League to fire Ed Hochuli of his duties for good.
Sincerely,
