Dear Mandalay Pictures,

We are all sincerely concerned about the creation of the mangaka (written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Shiki Douji) into a live-action film. We all strongly believe that the manga and anime were good (as they were classics), something that everybody enjoyed.

We have nothing against the rising star, Zac Efron (the potential Sousuke Sagara) as we respect himself as a person and his previous work.
However, we disagree as fans of 'Full Metal Panic!' that a live-action film should be made. We know this storyline and understand its characters.
If it is inevitable to remove 'Full Metal Panic!' as a potential upcoming film, then we propose that a different actor should be cast as Sousuke Sagara instead of Zac Efron. We propose this to keep the storyline intact, authentic and as similar to the original as much as possible.
