Folk Fest Camping Passes

This petition was created as an attempt to convince the Folk Fest organizers to sell more camping passes.







In my own search for a camping pass I have encountered "wanted" ads put out by various indiviuals seeking passes for themselves, the prices these people are willing to pay to get into the campground is nothing short of amazing with many of them offering 500% increases in the original price. Just check out websites like Kijiji.com, UsedWinnipeg.com, BuyandSell.com or even facebook, you'll find page after page of ads with requests like; "WILL BUY YOUR Winnipeg Folk Festival CAMPGROUND PASS!" "($30 + Food) if U SELL ME a Winnipeg Folk Festival Camping Pass" ect.







Visit "http://www.facebook.com/wall.php?id=2204573636" and you will see for yourself the amount of people who are looking for passes.







Also some of these people have had inconvienences come up which made them unable to purchase their passes, should they really be at fault for that? I have seen many blog posts from people who desperately want to attend but were affected by certain circumstances that ruined their chance to get one before they sold out. Some did not even know it was possible for the passes to sell out!







Perhaps one of the things that bothers me the most is how alot of people had plans ruined by passes selling out. Many of them have friends who have already bought theirs and are now simply just trying to find a way to obtain one to join in on something that they had planned for quite some time.







While this is not the most professional petition I hope that the Folk Fest organizers will look into their hearts and seriously consider my request as I don't think it's fair that many folks are having to offer up ridiculously large sums of money for the highly sought after camping passes.
