Freedom to Cheaper Food at Plume School

The canteen prices at the Plume School in Maldon Essex have been rising due to inflation, passing the cost to the students, and in turn the parents. Seeing as students have no choice but to eat on campus, the only other option currently available is to eat packed lunch, the cost of which can be equally expensive.
The changes the petition would be recommending would be that either A: The school subsidises the cost so that the prices are lower, or B: Students be allowed to leave campus during lunch break to find cheaper food either in the high street shops or at home.
The terms are currently being put forwards to the school council, this petition is in case changes are not made and further action needs to be taken.
