To:  New Hanover County Airport Authority

We strongly oppose the plans to cut down Mr. Charles Joyce’s trees at his 1811 North Kerr Avenue home, in particular three cedars, two maples, one pecan, and a Civil War Era oak tree. The trees in no way interfere with air traffic going in and out of the runway, and they do not interfere with the current landing system in use. These trees not only provide personality to Mr. Joyce’s home, but more importantly provide necessary shade and act as a noise buffer. Please reconsider these destructive plans.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
