Keep MMA Rules Legal in Quebec

To:  La Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec

We, the fans of MMA in Quebec, deplore the actions taken by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, to restrict the rules that have been allowed since 2000 across multiple organizations and promotions across Quebec. It is through these same rules and organizations that Quebec was put on the international stage in welcoming the UFC to Montreal, as well as producing the best pound for pound fighter in the world in Georges St-Pierre.

We ask that the Director for the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec formally change the rules and adopt the regulations that they have already enforced in hundreds of shows across the province of Quebec. Fighters and fans from not only across Quebec, but from Canada, the United States, and around the world make their way to Quebec to see the best in MMA compete against each other using rules that have been in place for almost a decade.
