Self Defense is not Capital Murder

Frank Moore was a fighter.. He was abandoned at age 8 and survived the streets on his own.. He got himself through the 10th grade before he begin to get in trouble… To me that is amazing.. Premeditated murder is a Capital crime in Texas but this murder was not premeditated at all .. More of simple defense for his life.
Gang members from another gang had been shooting at Frank all day.. Once while he was driving his car through town… So he made no attempt to fire back.. Then that night Frank went to a bar to have a few drinks with his friends.. As he was leaving the two gang members bore down on him in a stolen car and began shooting at him. Frank was not armed… Someone in the parking lot tossed Frank a gun and he shot back at his attackers.. Killing them both… Self defense.. Pure and simple.. Yet Frank sits on death row and is awaiting a date for execution within the next 90 days….The two gang members he killed that were shooting at him had earlier stolen the car and beat an old man up and took his social security check .. Left him for dead and went looking for Frank..
Texas is so determined to kill that all this doesn’t matter to them…
