Petition against the Clarion Fund and the terrorist attack at the Dayton mosque

To:  Senator John McCain

Dear John McCain,

We believe that Americans should be to worship in this great country without fear and persecution. This was violated on Friday, Sept. 26, when women and children at a mosque in Dayton, Ohio were attacked, through the use of chemical irritants, by delusional individuals who believe in their hearts that America's Muslims deserve to be punished.

The idea that our Muslim brothers and sisters are at fault for the terrorist attacks across the world has been promoted through the media and through your political party. In particular, the Clarion Fund has made it its mission to 'inform' Americans of the supposed 'danger' that exists because of Islam's existance.

Senator McCain, you have an obligation to censure the Clarion Fund, which is promoting hatred and bigotry in the United States for our Muslim brothers and sisters. You have an obligation to declare that "The Clarion Fund and its distribution of "Obsession" is not acceptable in the United States of America." He must dve in an America where children and families can engage in religious ceremoneclare that he will do anything in his power to stop the the campaign against America's Muslims.

Furthermore, you have an obligation to bring attention to this terrorist attack launched against innocent Americans in their time of prayer. No American deserves to fear for their safety in the sanctity of our religious institutions.

We ask that you bring to justice those that would perpetrate fear in our America. We ask that you defend the unheard and unseen in America, who live in fear because of an environment created by America's political discourse.
