For absolutely shown no reason the free student bus for University of Gloucestershire has been revoked. The university wants to be green. This is clearly not the case anymore! If the university was interested in such things then the free bus would still be in place.

It is not as if this request is unreasonable either, this was something we were offered. As a customer to the university I think it is an awful un-environmentally friendly decision. This will encourage students to drive to the University instead of using the bus.

It also doesnt help if you need to travel on multiple buses to get to your campus. It will work out expensive over the year too if you need to travel to university four or five times a week. Students dont actually get given much money to live off. We need the money we do get to spend on study resources, not paying bus fares that were offered free!
