Since its debut on September 9th, 1998, First Wave has caught the eye of many viewers world wide. In countries such as Canada, the United States, Africa, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, and Japan, the international popularity of First Wave has been phenominal.

However, First Wave ratings have declined in the US due to lack of promotion from the Sci Fi Channel. On the Canadian telelvision channel, Space: The Imagination Station, First Wave is promoted 5-6 times during the day as Canada's #1 hit television sci-fi series. Compare this to the 4 or 5 times per week on the Sci Fi Channel, most of these times being late at night. The fans are fed up with the seeming neglect of their favorite show and for this reason this petition has been formed. We hope that it will convince the Sci Fi Channel to promote First Wave more.
