Multiplatform Games Sold In Same Box

Dear Game Developers and Distributors,

We sign this petition to ask you to make multiplatform licenses as we think that having to pay twice or even more for a game just because we use them in a platform (say Windows) sometimes and sometimes in another one (say Macintosh) isn't fair.

There are companies that already take care of these, like Blizzard and id Software, but they only sell the multiplatform licenses of old games, and we ask all of you to do that with every game you release.

Most of your games are currently ported to two or three platforms, sometimes by the same developers, sometimes by another ones, and we ask you that when we buy the game we receive all the game versions in the same box.

Porting a Windows game to MacOS or Linux is currently almost trivial, specially if multiplatform gaming libraries like SDL and OpenGL are used.
An example of this is NeverWinter Nights from BioWare, made with these technologies and instantly available at a time for Windows, MacOS and Linux.

So, The Undersigned, as you to use these technologies, make the games for the three major platforms (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and sell the three version in the same box.
