Raise gas prices, make the world better

To:  Canadian Government (other governments applicable too)

In view of the severe negative consequences of global warming (a.k.a. global climate change) and pollution, and the clear connection to fossil fuel use we hereby petition the Canadian government to use fuel taxes raise the price of gasoline to at least $7.99 (seven dollars and 99 cents) per liter. We endorse the use of the the taxes generated for pollution abatement and public transportation.
