Jon Gaunt, the fantastic talkSport presenter was sacked on 18th November. He was sacked for calling a London councillor a "Nazi" and an "ignorant pig" live on air. This was during a conversation about a council who were stopping foster parents who smoke from fostering.

Jon has since apologised live on air and to the councillor himself, who accepted his apology and even said "the bigger picture" needed to be focused on.

TalkSport has a history of lively debate and outspoken views. What Jon said was hardly crime of the century and did not warrant being sacked.

We the undersigned demand that Jon is reinstated - he was the jewel in the crown of British broadcasting and this action is disgraceful.
