We, the undersigned, oppose the weekend elimination of express service via the X27 and X28 buses between south Brooklyn and midtown Manhattan.

Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bath Beach and Bensonhurst are already underserved by the MTA, and no good alternative to the X27 and X28 exists for weekend commuters and families. Cutting south Brooklyn and working families' access to Manhattan, especially during a fiscal crisis, is not a smart plan.

We urge you to maintain weekend express bus service via the X27 and X28.
