Greeks don't fight like heroes, heroes fight like Greeks." Winston Churchill said it almost fifty years ago. But nowadays Greeks seem to not fight at all. Almost two years ago arsonists burned whole Greece. Every single forest and green area of Greece was on fire. No one took action, no one was capitally condemned. Now they are building there and the people whose homes were burnt are still homeless and waiting for help. Almost three years ago Greek Government, Nea Dimokratia, vote for a new law which made private colleges and universities equal to public and made us, the students at last grade of high-school to give exams and get successfully in the universities only if we score 10/20. Every single student and every single teacher were on the road fighting and demanding the abolition of the law. One year and a half ago, police attacked a protest march for this law at Thessaloniki and seriously injured a student. No one was blamed, they say, Nea Dimokratia said, the police department said the student hit himself in a flower pot, no, policemen didn't hit him, he hit himself at the flower pot. What else you want? With their choices they destroyed greek economy years before the nowadays crisis, no one has money, less and less everyday has jobs, everyone has to work countless hours to feed his family €600 as salary is not enough for anyone and they continue to build Villas, they continue to go to Paris for shopping, they continue to vote for outraged laws, they continue to destroy us day per day, like we have junta, the government demands and police does. "Greeks don't fight like heroes, heroes fight like Greeks." Winston Churchill said it almost fifty years ago. And now it's our time to confirm it. We won't take it anymore. We are not rebels or anarchists, we are just human beings who like not to be treated like animals, who like to have their rights, who like to be free and not captured. Now they killed a 16years old boy, they called him anarchist, this kid, the only thing wanted was to live free, to live as everyone else in European Union lives. With dignity. They cock us a snook but, no, we will not take it anymore. Athens is now of fire, Thessaloniki the same. We will be on fire until we get what we want. And that is only one thing, to live with dignity, to not feel everyday that some people treat us like they do now, to live with dignity. We are sick and tired. Enough.
