Greener Georgia

As 2008 turns to 2009, the state of Georgia is being left behind in all that is “Green”. We as residents of the great state of Georgia are pushing for alternative fuels sources & more areas to recycle as well as improved forms of public transportation. As of now California is one of the only States with Natural Gas/LP, Hydro-electric fuel cell, & Bio-Diesel Refueling centers. We want Georgia to be the Southeast’s representative for the new future of environmentally friendly acts!
• Issue Grants for Businesses/People who wish to convert their locale to allow the sale of alternative fuel sources. Ex.- Natural Gas/LP, Bio-Diesel, or Ethanol
• Give Buyer incentives for buying (or converting to) environmentally friendly vehicles.
• Place Recycling Drop-offs at strategic and easy access places around the state, as well as give incentives for recycling such as other states who give ¢5 per aluminum can recycled.
• Make it mandatory for waste companies to accept all forms of recycled waste and/or provide means for recycling.
• Improve our modes of public transportation. Ex. - More busses, better routes, trams, widen Marta’s span.

Mientras el 2008 se convierte en 2009, el estado de Georgia es dejado atrás en todo lo que es "Verde". Nosotros como residentes del gran estado de Georgia queremos empujar para tener fuentes alternativas de combustibles, más áreas para reciclar, y mejorar formas de transporte público. Ahora California es uno de Los Unicos Estados con centros de Gas natural/PL, la célula Hidroeléctrica del combustible, & Bio-Diesel. ¡Deseamos que Georgia sea el representante del Sudeste para el nuevo futuro de actos ambientales!
• Becas de Asunto para Negocios/Personas que desea convertir su local para permitir la venta de fuentes alternativas de combustible. Ej.- Gas natural/PL, el Bio-Diesel, o el Etanol.
• Le Da al Consumidor incentivos/o los estímulos para convirtir o comprar vehículos que sean ambientalmente amistosos.
• Colocar puestos de Reciclamiento en lugares estratégicos y de fácil acceso alrededor del estado, y dar incentivos para reciclar como otros estados que dan ¢5 por cada lata de aluminio reciclado.
• Hacerlo obligatorio para que compañías de desecho acepten todas las formas del desecho reciclado y/o proporcionar medios para reciclar.
• Mejorar nuestros modos del transporte público. Ej. - Más busses, mejores rutas, los tranvías, ensanchar las rutas de la compañia de transporte Marta® .
