We, the undersigned, wish to express our discontent and dismay regarding the program change at 106.3/106.5 FM. For the past five, ten, even twenty-plus years we have loyally tuned in, first to WHTG, then GRock Radio, for its commitment to modern and alternative rock, a format woefully underrepresented in our area.
We find the decision to change formats very discouraging, and to spring such a decision on both your listeners and your station talent with no warning – no discussion, no feedback from your community – is inconsiderate, disrespectful, and cowardly.
We ask that you heed us, your listeners, and reconsider your market and your decision.
