Preámbulo:

En la ciudad de Guatemala, el día 9 de mayo de 2009 fue vil y cobardemente asesinado del abogado Rodrigo Rosenberg Marzano. Luego de su muerte se dio a conocer un documento y un vídeo grabado por él mismo, donde explica con detalle por qué el Sr. presidente de la república de Guatemala, Ing. Alvaro Colom Caballeros y sus principales colaboradores son los responsables de su muerte.

El abogado Rosenberg era un padre de familia con una esposa y 4 hijos por los cuales velar y por los que seguramente tenía motivos para vivir.

Considerando que ningún ser humano daría su vida a cambio de un escándalo político, tal como el gobierno lo ha especulado en la propaganda que está transmitiendo actualmente por todos los medios de comunicación en la república de Guatemala.

El vídeo del abogado Rosenberg se encuentra en YouTube y otros sitios de Internet. El Periódico ha publicado una nota con la transcripción del documento y el enlace a los vídeos. http://www.elperiodico.com.gt/es/20090511/pais/100336/

Petición:

Que el Ing. Alvaro Colom Caballeros sea separado del cargo de Presidente de la República y le sea retirada la inmunidad de la que goza actualmente por mandato constitucional, para que comparezca ante los tribunales de justicia por las serias acusaciones vertidas en su contra.

De la misma manera, todas las personas implicadas por el abogado Rosenberg Marzano sean retiradas de sus cargos públicos y sometidas a los tribunales de justicia.

El pueblo de Guatemala no desea que se rompa el orden institucional, por lo que se solicita que el Dr. Rafael Espada, actual vicepresidente de la república asuma el cargo de Presidente, mientras Alvaro Colom resuelve su situación jurídica.

También solicitamos que la comunidad internacional preste su apoyo, a través de los canales establecidos, para que se lleve a cabo una investigación independiente y a fondo de los hechos, hasta las últimas consecuencias.

Se sospecha que a estas alturas ya los autores materiales de este crimen hayan sido ya eliminados, para que no puedan incriminar a los sindicados de la autoría intelectual de este crimen, por lo que se pide a las embajadas y representaciones diplomáticas acreditadas en el país ofrecer inmediatamente y de manera pública asilo a estas personas, para que, si alguna todavía se encuentra con vida, pueda prestar su testimonio y así ayudar a esclarecer este hecho.

De la misma manera se solicita que le sean retiradas las visas de ingreso a sus respectivos paises y no se otorgue asilo político ni de ninguna otra índole a las personas implicadas.

Preamble:

In Guatemala City, on May 9, 2009 the lawyer Rodrigo Rosenberg Marzano was despicable and cowardly murdered. After his death was released a document and a video recorded by himself, which explains in detail why Alvaro Colom Caballeros, the current President of Guatemala and his senior aides are responsible for his death.

Counsel Rosenberg was a father with a wife and 4 children for whom and by ensuring that he certainly had reason to live.

Considering that no human being would give his life in exchange for a political scandal as the government has been speculation in the propaganda that is currently airing on all media in the republic of Guatemala.

Petition:

Mr. Alvaro Colom Caballeros to be removed from office as President of the Republic and the withdrawal of the immunity currently enjoyed by constitutional mandate, to go to the courts for the serious accusations leveled against him.

The same way, everyone involved in the facts by lawyer Rosenberg Marzano to be removed from their public charges and submitted to the courts.

The people of Guatemala do not want to break the institutional order, it is requested that Dr. Rafael Espada, current Vice President of the Republic takes office as President, while Alvaro Colom resolves his legal status.

We also ask to the international community to lend its support, through established channels, to be conducted independent and thorough investigation of the facts until the very end.


It is suspected that, at this stage, the material perpetrators of this crime have been eliminated, so that they can not incriminate the accused to be the intellectual authors of this crime. We calls to embassies and diplomatic missions accredited in the country immediately and publicly offer to provide a asylum for these people, so that if some of them are still alive, can give their testimony to help clarify this.

In the same way we ask to withdrawn entry visas to their respective countries and not be given political asylum or any other assistance to those involved in this crime.
