Prohibition of sale and use of glue traps in the UK

We, the undersigned, call for a complete ban on the sale and use of Glue Traps in the United Kingdom, without exception.

Glue traps are merciless and indiscriminate. They are, arguably, the cruellest of the rat/mice traps and any creature caught on the sticky board will almost certainly die slowly and horribly. Many die of dehydration or starvation, others bite off their own limbs to escape. If an animal’s face becomes stuck it will slowly suffocate. Any small animal or bird may become stuck, including pets and even a small child.

We therefore urge you to prohibit the sale and use of glue traps right away.
