Rick Astley; Signer, Songwriter, Internet Meme.
Richard Paul "Rick" Astley is best known for his 1987 hit "Never Gonna Give You Up". Returning back into the entertainment world after "Never Gonna Give You Up" became an internet meme, "Rickrolling" has became more and more frequent. On April 1 2008 YouTube Rickrolled all the viewers of the featured videos.
However, it's not all fun and games. Some users think that Rickrolling is uncool and childish.
It should be made illegal to negatively refer to the video, song or Rick himself in public. It could be seen as bullying and harassment to say such things.
Things this petition wants:
1. Illegal to negatively refer to Rick Astley, Never Gonna Give You Up or "Rickrolling" in public.
2. The 6th of February (His Birthday) should be a national holiday and a bank holiday.
If you agree, please sign this petition.
