According to this article (http://www.insidemacgames.com/features/view.php?ID=351), the Havok libraries would be available for the Mac platform, and would open the Mac users to play such games like Half-Life 2, Medal of Honor : Pacific Assault, Age of Empires III, Halo 2, Max Payne 2, Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory, and so on.
The Havok engine libraries are available for all platforms, consoles & PC, except Mac and Linux. All other game engines, including the latest ones (Unreal Engine 3, being ported by Ryan Gordon and the new id Software Doom 3 engine) are all available, why wouldnt Havok be ported, as it is really popular and a huge number of Mac gamers would love to buy games using it, including myself ?
We ask Havok to confirm wether or not their Game engine is ready (or on the way) to be used on the Mac platform, and in the positive, to find a reasonable issue to the financial problem to allow the port of the existing and future games to Mac OS. We would like Apple to imply itself into this matter and help game developers, publishers and Havok to find a solution.
